I am delighted to share that our team won the public award at the Exposure Science Film Hackathon!
The Hackathon
Exposure is a three-day event in Lausanne, Switzerland that brings together scientists and filmmakers to create short science documentaries. Our team of four created a film titled "Jenna and Danbot".
The Film
The film explores machine learning through the lens of relationships. It follows Jenna, who enters a romantic relationship with Dan, an artificial boyfriend powered by advanced machine learning.
The narrative examines whether a robot can be an effective partner and explores the dynamics of their unconventional relationship.
Watch It
The film is available to watch on YouTube. It is a fun and accessible way to think about AI and human-machine interaction!
This was a fantastic experience combining science communication with creative filmmaking.
